Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball
Here is a recipe that I really had fun with. In some circles the idea of a vegan cheese ball is an impossible task. Even less expected would be one that also has bacon in or on it. That fact made creating this amazing Bacon Ranch cheese Ball a fun task to undertake. This one is full of the wonderful Bacon Ranch flavor that many people really enjoy as well. My favorite things about this recipe, besides the flavor of it, is the fact that it is completely vegan, or cruelty free and it works perfect for a small party of guests, or just a family get together. You will wow them and all without working yourseelf too hard in the kitchen.
I always said that if we are going to create it, do it right! Enjoy your Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball. if if you wish, comment below about what you think of it. I would love to hear from you.
2 -8 oz packages of Vegan cream cheese, room temp (I used Go Veggie Vegan Cream Cheese)
1/2 cup vegan cheddar shreds
1 cup imitation bacon bits, divided equally (Make sure the are vegan friendly)
1/4 cup diced green onion
1/4 teaspoon granulated onion powder
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
2 teaspoons chives flakes, minced
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon of Lactic acid powder
Place cream cheese in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Mix with mixer until both blocks are combined.
Add in ranch spices, lactic acid, and green onion and mix well.
Blend in shredded cheddar and 1/2 cup of the bacon crumbles.
Once mixed, using your hands, form into a ball.
Roll the ball into the remaining ½ cup of bacon crumbles.
Refrigerate 1 or more hour before serving. The longer the flavor marry the better it tastes.
Serve with pita chips, crackers, or anything that strikes your fancy
